Vote.org tools are here to simplify the entire process and ensure that your community is heard loud and clear in every election.

At Vote.org, we understand the importance of accessibility in modern times. Our tools are available online, 24/7, 365 days a year, so your community can register at their convenience. No more waiting in long lines or rushing to meet registration deadlines — Vote.org brings civic engagement to your fingertips.

Users enter basic information and then are provided with multiple pathways to register to vote, specific to their state laws and optimized for digital where possible.

Verify Registration

This tool allows voters to enter basic information to check if they are currently on their state’s voting rolls. It takes just 30 seconds and provides users with clear directions and next steps.

Vote by Mail

Users enter basic information and then are provided with multiple pathways to request an absentee ballot, specific to their state laws and optimized for digital where possible

Pledge to Register

Designed for users 13-18 years old, this tool allows young people to enter their information and receive a text message from Vote.org on their 18th birthday wishing them a happy birthday and reminding them to register to vote. Vote.org+ partners do not receive data on these users due to legal restrictions regarding minors.

Election Reminders

Voters who use this tool will receive Vote.org’s nonpartisan election emails and texts for their relevant federal and statewide elections, on a predictable schedule leading up to primaries and general elections. If a user uses this tool in Spanish, they’ll received their reminders in Spanish, too.

What’s On My Ballot?

Users can fill in their information in a web form, and see a preview of who and what will be on their ballot. The application will include candidates and ballot measures for the November 7, 2023 General Election and for primaries and general elections in 2024, at the following levels: federal, statewide, state legislature, and select large municipalities.

Paid Vote.org+ partners have the option to “endorse” candidates and ballot initiatives via an Endorsements Feature. This feature will display your organization’s endorsements within the context of the ballot information provided. The Endorsements Feature is not available for 501c3 organizations.
